Dozens of New Spectrometers Showcased in Orlando
At Pittcon 2012, more than two dozen major new spectroscopy products were introduced, demonstrated and exhibited for the conference attendees to examine.
Everyone should remember that Pittcon is an abbreviation for the Pittsburgh Conference on Analytical Chemistry and Applied Spectroscopy. For more than 60 years, this event has served as a showcase for equipment manufacturers to announce and demonstrate their new analytical instruments, with new spectrometer technologies most often taking center stage. As such, more than 15 companies used this event to launch more than two dozen new spectrometers—several of them, such as Thermo Fisher Scientific and Bruker, announcing nearly a half-dozen each.
